Jennifer Garcia named Member Engagement Manager of Newnan-Coweta Chamber
Jennifer Garcia of Newnan has joined the Newnan-Coweta Chamber as Member Engagement Manager. Her responsibilities include membership program retention and sales, customer service, event planning, fundraising and assisting with social media marketing.
For the past two years, Garcia has worked as the Member Engagement Coordinator at the Summit Family YMCA in Newnan. She worked for the YMCA for 15 years, including four in Newnan. She is also a swim instructor and water fitness instructor at the YMCA and enjoys serving as the Assistant Swim Coach for Trinity Christian School. Before moving to Newnan, Garcia was the Aquatics Director at the YMCA of Central Maryland.
A 2010 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, Garcia also has a Master of Science in Environmental Management from the University of Maryland. She has been involved in a variety of community volunteer roles both in Maryland and here in Coweta.
Garcia said she looks forward to welcoming new members to the Chamber and building relationships with current members.
