THE RHYTHM MAJOR BAND
The Rhythm Major Band brings a bold, fresh concept to the live music scene: the raw power, visual precision, and infectious hype of a stadium marching band fused with the deep-pocket grooves of a live funk, R&B, and soul party band.

Founded by keyboardist and arranger Chris Jefferson, Rhythm Major was built from the ground up by a tight-knit collective of Metro Atlanta musicians, music educators, and marching band alums. Combining field-tested drum corps discipline with years of performance experience—spanning university music degrees, local church roots, and backing national R&B and gospel acts—the band bridges technical skill with pure, uninhibited stage energy.

Decked out in signature marching band jackets and fronted by high-stepping Drum Majors, RM turns every stage into an interactive experience. The frontline commands the room with synchronized horn choreography, crowd interaction, and a seamless, zero-gap show flow arranged like a continuous live DJ set. From classic soul and 90s/2000s nostalgia to modern pop-funk hits, the band keeps the floor packed from the first hit to the final beat.
