Please join the Newnan-Coweta Chamber and Progressive Heating and Airin partnership with Carrier as we welcome Dr. Patricia Rich, Medical Oncology Director and Vice Chief of Staff of the CTCA Lung Cancer Institute. Dr. Rich will talk about cancers most affecting women, especially lung cancer, which impacts more women than men in recent years.
 Dr. Rich, a Medical Oncologist and Medical Oncology Director of the CTCA Lung Cancer Institute, takes time to sit with her patients and learn about what they are experiencing. She listens to their concerns, answers their questions and encourages them to never lose sight of hope.
Education is a major component of the personalized care that Dr. Rich provides to her patients. She explains their diagnosis and treatment options in detail and at a level they can understand.
"I believe that if patients learn about the cancer they are fighting, their treatment options and anything their treatment involves, including side effects, they will have more hope and be better equipped to deal with the disease," says Dr. Rich, who also empowers her patients and their families by involving them in the decision-making process when selecting treatments.
